About Me

- Name: Mitch
- Location: United States
Once upon a time, I wanted to be an artist in the animation industry. Well, I shot that down after about 20 years, but I still find myself drawing on blank surfaces because I can't help it. These days, I'm studying ASL to become an interpreter while working on a children's book in the meantime. Goodness knows the book will probably net me more money than the other careers have, if I would just finish the dang thing....

Ratatouille Website Updated!!

Just when we thought things couldn't get any better: Voila'! Take a look at this:
The official Ratatouille website has finally been updated! Although there is nothing new that we haven't seen before, the improved look will almost definitely catch your eye. As of yet, there are no new trailers to view -- just the same old teaser trailer is availabe for the moment. However, the synopsis page is rather catchy: it is made to look like a menu. And the official poster for the film is avaible to download off the site.
There is no doubt about it: we are definitely getting closer!
Sources: Official Ratatouille website. The picture above was created by me, however (with the inscription, "It's time to cut the cheese..." engraved in it).

Breaking News: New Ratatouille Characters Unveiled!

According to Upcoming Pixar , a book outlining information on Pixar's Ratatouille will be released sometime in the near future on Amazon.com. You can view the cover of this board book here:
Apparently, a few new characters from the film are depicted on the cover of this booklet. Among them: a young woman, two men, Remy, "Rollie" (the fat brown rat), and another rat who may be Remy's father or some other relative of his.
Update/Extra Information:
I have just been informed -- thanks to the blog JV Pixar News -- that the name of the lady in the above photo is, more than likely, Emilie; the young man is probably the afore-mentioned Linguini; and the short man on the left-hand side is most likely chef Auguste Gusteau.
More information concerning the plot-line of Ratatouille can be found at this link on Amazon, which is also where the names of some of the said characters are mentioned:
